British intel saved lifes in Libya, said Foreign Secretary W. Hague.

LONDON – British intelligence agencies avoided an attack on the leadership of Libya’s National Transitional Council and Western representatives by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi in the city of Benghazi , Foreign Secretary William Hague said Wednesday in a rare press conference.

Hague said both MI6 and the electronic listening agency GCHQ played a key role in saving lifes in Libya ,Hague declared.
